ZERO TO THREE is proud to announce our first-ever Annual Conference Master Lecture. This year’s Master Lecture is named for Kathryn Barnard, PhD, and will feature Arietta Slade, PhD, presenting:
Minding the Baby®: Thinking about Parents, ACEs, and Developmental Trauma
Arietta Slade, PhD, is clinical professor at the Yale Child Study Center, and Professor Emerita in the doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at the City University of New York. An internationally recognized theoretician, clinician, researcher, and teacher, she has published widely on a range of early childhood topics, and regularly presents her work to national and international audiences. She also serves as co-director of Minding the Baby, an interdisciplinary reflective parenting home-visiting program for high-risk mothers, infants, and their families, at the Yale Child Study Center and School of Nursing.
This event will be named annually after an exemplar in the field whose research, practice, teaching, or advocacy has had a demonstrable impact on very young children and those who care for them.
